Key job responsibilities
Partners with engineering and product management team members in the execution and delivery of successful products and services, using a customer‑focused, iterative design process.
Leads UX efforts by setting design direction, driving discussion and activities, while participating in delivery, planning, and coordination efforts.
Determines best UX solutions based on customer feedback and business goals, identifying challenges and adapting as needed based on the context of the solution and customer.
Utilizes storytelling and presentation skills to clearly communicate the design strategy, outcomes, and deliverables to diverse stakeholders.
Creates high quality deliverables and executes based on UX goals and priorities while driving the success of overall UX team delivery by seeking opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process.
Leverages, fosters and extends the use of established UX techniques, templates, presentations, and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions, and materials; proposes new solutions or optimizes existing ones, and fosters UX artifact reuse and consistency across team members and/or projects.

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of mass‑market consumer web / mobile products experience
Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

The base salary for this position ranges from $74,300/year up to $124,000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
