As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Architectural Staff to join our team and help us bring treehouses to life.

Position Overview: As a member of our architecture and design team, your primary responsibility will be drawing, but you will have a great deal of responsibilities and opportunities. In this role, you will work closely with our leadership and construction teams to produce detailed drawings and documents necessary for design, permitting, and construction. As a member of a small team that does a wide variety of project types, your responsibilities and opportunities will be many. Key Responsibilities:

Compile simple permit and construction sets in AutoCAD.

Develop and maintain detailed drawings, plans, and models.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs are structurally sound and align with the architect & client’s vision.

Collaborate on and provide design insight at each stage of the project.

Be present in the office a minimum of 2 days per week, sometimes more.

Create 3D models and visualizations using Sketchup.

Utilize the Adobe Design suite for graphics and presentation materials.

Provide support to the construction teams as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and document preparation.

Strong knowledge of Type V wood frame construction (Type III knowledge is a bonus).

Strong familiarity with Residential occupancy types.

Strong design sense and design communication skills.

Proficiency in Sketchup for 3D modeling and visualization.

Familiarity with the Adobe Design suite for graphics and presentation materials.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision in design.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Architectural licensure is a bonus.

Project management experience is a bonus.

Interior design experience is a bonus.

Furniture design is a bonus.
