Interior Designer (Intermediate or Senior) | The Hamptons
We’re hiring for our client, a distinguished residential design firm based in the Hamptons known for crafting elegant, timeless interiors that blend modern comfort with classic sensibility.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an Interior Designer who thrives in a collaborative, design-driven environment. If you bring creative vision, technical excellence, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion, this role offers the chance to lead bespoke residential projects in one of the country’s most inspiring coastal communities.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design process for high-end residential projects — from concept development to installation.
Create design concepts, floor plans, elevations, and comprehensive FF&E specifications that reflect a refined aesthetic.
Collaborate directly with discerning clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and aspirations for their home.
Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering growth and ensuring design excellence across all phases.
Partner with architects, builders, and contractors to bring design intent to life seamlessly and efficiently.
Source exceptional finishes, furnishings, and materials that embody both quality and character.
Oversee construction documentation, shop drawings, and client presentations with precision and clarity.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Conduct on-site visits, installations, and styling sessions to ensure every detail aligns with the design vision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
6+ years of professional experience in luxury residential design, with a strong portfolio of completed work.
Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office (Revit experience is a plus).
Strong grasp of construction methods, detailing, and material application.
Exceptional client communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to balance creative innovation with project management rigor.
Familiarity with Hamptons and coastal residential styles is highly desirable.
