Base Pay Range
$150,000.00/yr – $175,000.00/yr
USA Marketing Director – Global FMCG Company
Our client is a Global FMCG company with international iconic brands. We are searching for an innovative Marketing Director to join the team as USA Marketing Director.
Reporting to the CEO USA, you will manage the brand activities and oversee the local marketing team. You will execute marketing guidelines set by HQ, translate global strategies into local actions, and maintain close alignment with HQ Europe. You will interface with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Sales as required and work on a high-growth portfolio of brands.
Responsibilities
Drive Trade Marketing & Category management for the US business in line with global initiatives.
Lead US Trade Marketing, Public Relations, and eCommerce functions, fully integrating with US sales and Global Marketing teams.
Analyze sales data and provide performance reports, proposing corrective actions as needed.
Prepare ad hoc presentations for sales meetings, distributor meetings, and HQ meetings.
Manage internal and external team and agency relationships to deliver exceptional marketing programs.
Develop deep brand understanding and manage brand voice; serve as a brand advocate across all channels.
Train and develop direct reports; set goals, coach, mentor, and evaluate performance.
Oversee team development and delivery processes.
Create world‑class brand activations for international US NPD, ensuring strong market presence.
Develop a multi‑channel approach to activate the international US portfolio, increasing distribution and consumption.
Manage investment envelopes for Trade Marketing and Category functions, evaluating customer deal fund investment.
Ensure sales teams receive category insights and support to protect current business and expand into new categories and customers.
Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 8 years in a similar marketing/trade marketing role.
BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years in FMCG, Food & Beverage, and/or Wine & Spirits industry.
5+ years supervisory/management experience.
Demonstrable ability to lead people, projects, and activities.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
High proficiency in AI, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels.
Experience launching new products in a crowded marketplace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Entrepreneurial and ambitious self‑starter, targeting and efficiently organizing work.
IRI, Nielsen, IWSR systems knowledge is a plus.
