We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Assistant with 4-6 years of experience to assist the Marketing Team Lead in digital marketing activities. This role involves community management, social listening, content creation, and supporting the overall marketing strategy remotely from Mexico. The ideal candidate will monitor marketing trends, track emergency disaster updates, and engage with the community through social media.
The position also involves assisting in content creation using tools like Canva, CapCut, and AI tools, while helping schedule across platforms. Proficiency in English, a proactive approach to fostering relationships, and an ability to drive brand presence and audience interaction are essential.
Responsibilities Social Listening & Trend Analysis: Regularly monitor social media channels and online conversations for brand mentions, industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant discussions. Provide actionable insights to inform strategy and drive engagement.
Monitor Marketing Trends & Disaster Updates: Stay informed on the latest marketing trends and emergency disaster updates. Share relevant insights with the team to help guide marketing strategies.
Community Management & Engagement: Actively engage with the community on social media platforms initiating conversations, responding to comments, and fostering a positive, interactive online presence. Build relationships with followers and encourage discussions that align with the brand’s values and mission.
Content Creation Support: Assist in creating and editing engaging content, including graphics, videos, and promotional materials, using tools such as Canva, CapCut, and AI technologies. Ensure content reflects brand voice and meets marketing goals.
Social Media Post Scheduling: Help schedule posts across various social media platforms using scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar. Ensure content is published at optimal times to reach the widest audience and encourage engagement.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor social media and content performance, analyze engagement metrics, and provide insights on how to improve future content. Track community engagement trends and suggest strategies to enhance brand interaction.
Assist Marketing Team Lead in Digital Marketing Activities: Support the Marketing Team Lead in executing various digital marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, community management, or content creation.
Proficient in English (written and verbal).
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, and other graphic design or video editing tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with online communities.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple social media channels simultaneously.
Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
A creative mindset with a passion for learning and staying updated on new trends and technologies.
Social Listening Skills: Ability to effectively monitor online conversations and interpret customer sentiment, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI tools for content creation (image generation, video editing).
Background or interest in the emergency disaster sector or related industries.
Previous experience in community management, social media engagement, or customer support through digital platforms.
Compensation $9 - $11 hourly
