Social Media Buyer – 24 Seven Talent

Our client, a full‑service creative agency, has an immediate need for a Social Media Buyer with hands‑on keyboard expertise in the META platform (Facebook, Instagram). This is a 3‑month freelance role, 40 hours a week, with potential to extend. Must be able to go onsite in the LA office once a week or as needed.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, understands the nuances of paid social, and can own the full campaign lifecycle—from setup to optimization to trafficking. You’ll be responsible for setting up the Paid Social division, kicking off the CY26 planning cycle, executing, and optimizing paid social campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with strategy, creative, analytics, and client teams to ensure campaigns are audience‑savvy, performance‑driven, and culturally resonant.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Platform Execution (META):
    • Set up and manage ad accounts, pixels, and conversion tracking
    • Build campaigns, ad sets, and creatives in Ads Manager
    • Implement audience targeting strategies using first‑party and third‑party data
    • Monitor pacing, delivery, and performance in real time
  • Media Planning & Buying:
    • Translate strategic briefs into tactical media plans
    • Forecast budgets, reach, and performance benchmarks
    • Execute 112 buys across META properties with precision and agility
  • Optimization & Reporting:
    • Analyze campaign performance and implement optimizations (creative, audience, bid strategy, etc.)
    • Deliver actionable insights and performance reports to internal teams and clients
    • Collaborate with analytics to refine attribution and incrementality measurement
  • Trafficking & QA:
    • Ensure flawless trafficking of assets and tracking parameters
    • Conduct pre‑launch QA and troubleshoot delivery issues
    • Maintain documentation of campaign setups and learnings

Qualifications

  • 7‑10+ years of paid social media buying experience, with deep expertise in META Ads Manager
  • Proven ability to manage $20M+ annual budgets at the National and Local level
  • Strong understanding of media KPIs (CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
  • Experience with pixel implementation, event tracking, and conversion APIs
  • Familiarity with brand safety, data privacy, and platform policies
  • Bonus: Experience with other platforms (TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, YouTube) and/or third‑party tools
