Digital Advertising Sales Representative
BBB® Serving Central Oklahoma is seeking a driven sales professional to help local businesses grow through strategic Digital Advertising placements on BBB.org and Google. This position is not eligible for remote work in the states of New York, California or Washington, and must reside in the United States.
As the Digital Advertising Sales Representative, you’ll engage business owners through a mix of cold outreach and warm leads generated by our marketing team. Your role is to present tailored advertising package options and secure new and renewal contracts. You will not be responsible for creating, placing, or managing ads. Instead, your expertise should be in building relationships, understanding client needs, and guiding businesses to the right advertising solutions. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, goal‑driven professional passionate about helping local businesses grow.
Responsibilities
- Create a new customer base by pitching advertising packages to businesses via cold‑calling.
- Create proposals with accurate pricing and a clear explanation of the product/service being sold.
- Complete the full‑cycle sale, including receipt of payment for services and signed contract.
- Make collection calls on past‑due advertising payment plans.
- Deliver results and meet deadlines.
- Close sales and hit revenue goals.
- Work alongside the marketing team to execute contracts, coordinate, and deliver all digital ad campaigns to the client.
- Track results utilizing internal CRM.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong work ethic, integrity, professionalism.
- 2+ years of marketing/media sales or a track record of 3-5 years of sales history.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated capability to develop positive working relationships and work in a team environment.
- Teachable, with a desire and ability to be coached/mentored and developed.
- Ability to make a professional presentation by phone.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build sales knowledge and sell a complex solution in simple terms.
- Exceptional organization, administration, and time‑management skills.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Google AdWords, search engine optimization, mobile advertising, and/or social media advertising.
