What does this role look like?

The Animation and Design team Associate Manager role provides first‑line leadership for the Animation and Design team, ensuring accountability and alignment of team efforts with business priorities. The manager oversees multiple Visual Communications functions, such as graphic design, motion design, and 3D animation. Responsibilities include coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training; performance assessment; work assignments; salary and recognition/disciplinary actions; and overseeing graphic production and high‑end cinematic storytelling. The successful candidate will anticipate bottlenecks, make trade‑offs, and balance the needs of various stakeholders.

Location

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office.
