Amplified Marketing is a boutique, award‑winning experiential agency that builds brand experiences through lifestyle, entertainment, fashion, beauty, sports, and hospitality programs. We are currently seeking a Junior Art Director to join our growing team.

He / she / they will be an integral part of the Amplified team and its clients, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to our client roster.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Emerging creative talent with a passion for experiential, environmental, and brand design
  • Strong conceptual thinker who can translate brand strategy into bold, immersive visual storytelling
  • Adept in both 2D and 3D design execution, with experience across moodboarding, storytelling, rendering, and spatial thinking
  • Collaborative communicative, with the ability to work cross‑functionally with production, strategy, and client service teams
  • A supportive, team‑oriented designer who thrives on contributing to larger creative initiatives and ensuring flawless execution
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to brand consistency, executional polish, and client satisfaction

  • Eager to stay current on design tools, production techniques, and workflows that bring efficiencies to the studio process

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION | Build and Execute Visually Impactful Experiences (60%)

  • Interpret creative briefs and client input to design experiential assets from concept through execution
  • Create moodboards, renderings, and storyboards to communicate ideas visually
  • Develop environmental design solutions for branded spaces, integrating physical storytelling and guest journey mapping
  • Translate brand guidelines into cohesive visual executions across various touchpoints (print, digital, environmental)
  • Adapt and resize creative across multiple formats — digital, social, e‑commerce, fabrication, retail assets, and print
  • Design and prepare production‑ready files for vendors, ensuring fabrication feasibility
  • Support fabrication input through knowledge of substrates, materials, and build best practices
  • Support Creative, Client Service, and Production Leads in the execution and production of campaign and evergreen assets
  • Assist with Activation Overview and client‑facing decks, including preparation of pre‑pro requirements and asset organization from concept through post‑production
  • Maintain design excellence, polish, and brand consistency across all deliverables

PROJECT COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION | Partner Across Teams to Bring Work to Life (25%)

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, strategy, and account teams to align on timelines and deliverables
  • Represent the creative team in client meetings and internal touchpoints with professionalism and clarity
  • Ensure organized design handoffs and asset management, following established naming conventions and server protocols
  • Ensure design handoffs to production and vendors are organized, complete, and on time
  • Proactively communicate needs, ideas, and status updates to teammates and managers
  • Present work with clarity and intention in both internal and external forums
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery

TECHNICAL SKILLS & BRAND INTEGRITY | Design Detail, Consistency, and Excellence (15%)

  • Ensure strict adherence to client brand guidelines and design systems
  • Champion brand consistency across all creative deliverables
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and design presentation tools
  • Prepare clean, organized working files and print‑ready assets for internal and external use
  • Maintain knowledge of design standards, production trends, and new experiential design techniques
  • Support quality control across environmental, print, and digital creative executions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, environmental design, or related field
  • 4+ years in experiential, branding, or creative agency environments with a strong portfolio of experiential work demonstrating strong executional design skills across experiential, creative strategy, and print formats
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with 3D rendering programs (e.g., SketchUp, Cinema 4D) is a plus
  • Skilled in Keynote and/or PowerPoint for client presentation
  • Knowledge of production processes, file prep, and delivery for both digital and print
  • Understanding of naming conventions, file structure, and server protocol
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Comfortable working across multiple deadlines and team members in a fast‑paced setting

Up to 15% travel required for onsite event management. Subject to change based upon new business and event schedule.

The Amplified team is a hybrid in‑office (10am - 6pm) / remote team and requires team members be in‑office 3‑days per week.

Compensation package includes competitive base, annual bonus eligibility, healthcare contribution and cell phone stipend. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience with a base salary range of $75,000 - $84,000 / year. Featured benefits include employer contribution to medical, vision, dental and life insurance package, 401k (with company match), paid maternity leave, paid paternity leave, generous PTO, 14 holidays, winter holiday closure and Summer Fridays.
