As the Creative Operations Coordinator, you will be the central figure in driving the successful production, implementation, monitoring, and analysis of our creative assets across multiple paid media channels.
During your training, you’ll learn the secrets to scaling ad campaigns for eight and nine‑figure brands, mastering our products, creative development processes, and proven messaging strategies that fuel our explosive growth. Job Description
- Maintain Our Creative Flywheel
- Buildout and maintain creative “flywheel” documentation, including a Creative Reference Library, Digital Asset Management (DAM) Libraries, partner onboarding materials, etc
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the creative flywheel
- Maintain and update the status of creative assets and tests in the testing log,
- Track, document and analyze ad performance, ensuring accurate and consistent updates to the testing log for analysis and optimization
- Brief and guide our video production, copywriting, and graphic design teams by writing clear and concise creative briefs based on insights and brainstorms
- Maintain quality standards for ads by QAing creative assets + communicating edits
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that insights and best practices are applied across creative teams
- Maintain a rolling calendar of tests, launches, and deliverables inside internal project management tools
- Assist in coordinating creative production with external agencies and managing related project timelines
- Upload new ads to ad platforms, as needed
- Discover opportunities to collaborate with content creators
- Creative Strategy & Analysis
- Use tools like MotionApp, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Looker Studio, and Mixpanel to collect and analyze learnings from creative assets to inform future iterations and improvements
- Develop creative recommendations based on trends, performance, competitor analysis, and creative messaging/diversity gaps
- Ensure all creative tests are well‑reasoned and yield actionable outcomes
- Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical teams
- Monitor platform updates and emerging social media trends to enhance ad effectiveness
Promotion Path: Creative Operations Coordinator to Performance Creative Strategist
Phase 1: Foundational Mastery
Objective: Build a strong foundation by mastering clerical coordination tasks, and ensuring a deep understanding of the creative process, tools, and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain creative assets and test statuses in the testing framework
- Monitor ad performance and ensure accurate documentation
- Apply established naming conventions to ads and manage trafficking
- Conduct creative QA to uphold quality standards
- Maintain flywheel documentation, including Creative Reference Libraries and onboarding materials
- Support creative production coordination with agencies
Milestone for Advancement:
- Demonstrates proficiency in maintaining the testing framework and documentation with minimal supervision
- Accurately labels and traffics ads with zero errors over a sustained period
- Independently manages at least one small‑scale creative project timeline
Phase 2: Process Familiarization and Insight Development
Objective: Transition from clerical work to insight generation, ensuring a thorough understanding of the creative process, testing methodologies, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Begin analyzing ad performance and tagging trends within the framework
- Assist in collecting learnings from creative tests and proposing small‑scale recommendations
- Develop proficiency with tools like MotionApp, Google Data Studio, and Mixpanel to extract and summarize data
- Shadow strategists during creative briefings and strategy sessions
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring gaps or opportunities in creative workflows
Milestone for Advancement:
- Successfully synthesizes data from creative tests and presents concise, actionable insights that lead to tangible creative wins
- Assist in creating creative briefs with guidance from strategists
- Identifies one or two process improvements and implements them with minimal oversight
Phase 3: Strategic Integration
Objective: Introduce strategic responsibilities, allowing for supervised exploration of creative trends, competitor analysis, and ad concept ideation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial creative trend research and competitor analysis to inform brainstorming sessions
- Co‑develop creative briefs, contributing ideas aligned with team objectives
- Propose test ideas rooted in data‑backed insights from prior campaigns
- Collaborate with the team to refine messaging strategies for specific creative iterations
- Take ownership of select creative tests and oversee their lifecycle, including post‑test analysis

- Leads the development of at least one high‑performing creative concept

Phase 4: Independent Strategy Leadership
Objective: Fully transition into the Performance Creative Strategist role, focusing on independent strategy development and thought leadership within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end‑to‑end strategy for creative campaigns, from ideation to testing
- Act as a key decision‑maker in creative briefing and testing prioritization
- Mentor newer team members, guiding them through foundational tasks and strategic thinking
- Develop and implement advanced creative strategies leveraging competitive analysis, market trends, and platform insights
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align creative strategies with broader marketing goals
Milestone for Promotion to Strategist Role:
- Demonstrates consistent strategic success, with measurable improvement in campaign performance
- Independently drives significant creative projects from concept to execution
- Acts as a trusted resource for insights and creative direction within the team

Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in digital performance marketing (1‑4 years), preferably in a direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce environment
- An understanding of what makes an effective social media ad
- Knowledge of persuasive sales techniques and consumer psychology principles to create compelling content that converts
- Familiarity with direct response methods and best practices, with evidence of their implementation in prior media campaigns
- Experience working on teams that managing and optimize digital ad campaigns
- First‑hand experience tracking digital campaign key performance indicators (KPIs), and measuring campaign results
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and clients, and effectively present campaign performance reports and recommendations
- Ability to think strategically and independently—persuasively pitching unconventional ideas backed by reasoning and data
- Ability to articulate complicated concepts simply and concisely, distilling information to its core elements and prioritizing what to convey based on relevance and importance.
- Stay up to date on the latest industry and platform trends, creative best practices for the top advertising platforms, and digital marketing techniques
Nice to Haves:
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field with a strong quantitative background or a certificate of completion of formal training programs relevant to the position
- Experience writing effective sales copy for landing pages and advertorials, as well as scripts for video ads
- Experience handling programmatic ad buying or exposure to media buying strategies
- Proficiency in using digital ad platforms like Meta, Google, or TikTok Ads
- Successful affiliate marketing experience in a paid media environment
