Radiographic Tech (Mammo)

Pay Rate:
$42 / hour
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Radiographic Tech (Mammo) in an acute care setting
Certificate or degree from a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
ARRT certification in Mammography required.
Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist within the last two years (preferred).
Job Responsibilities
Perform routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures.
Correctly position patients and make necessary technical adjustments.
Process digital images and submit them for radiologist interpretation.
Maintain records and document procedures per facility policies.
Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks.
Recognize and report equipment malfunctions, initiating repair procedures.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media and respond to emergencies.
