THE JOB As the
Senior Director, E-Commerce & Digital Marketing , you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to deliver a distinctive Mashburn customer experience through all digital touchpoints, continual improvement of our e-commerce platform, and productivity of digital marketing to drive customer acquisition, retention, conversion and loyalty. You will lead your team with a strong brand, consumer, and operator mindset, with a passion for innovative and best-in-class customer experience. You will be the digital champion in the organization, moving our digital capabilities forward through data-driven testing and optimization across marketing and user experience and leading omnichannel projects to grow sales and provide seamless customer service. This position is in our Atlanta headquarters and reports into the CEO. This is a salaried, exempt position.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute an e-commerce strategy that will increase customer engagement, deliver a unique Mashburn experience both online and across channels, and increase revenue and profitability
Actively manage the E-commerce and Digital Marketing business to plan, leading annual forecasting and budgeting, analyzing business trends, and taking necessary actions to achieve key financial goals
Create and implement e-commerce roadmap to develop site design, functionality, and user experience to drive conversion, provide best-in-class customer experience, and position Mashburn to be on pace with digital advancements
Direct all digital marketing strategies and efforts across both organic and paid and acquisition and retention, including SEM, SEO, email, paid search and social, display/retargeting, affiliates, and referral programs
Actively monitor key performance indicators, analyze user behavior and sales data, and use data-driven insights to optimize functionality, campaigns, and spending
Work closely with Merchandising, Creative, Technology, Distribution Center, and Retail teams to coordinate efforts across product launches, seasonal campaigns, fulfillment, and customer service
Identify and act as final decision maker for e-commerce-related vendors, leading selection processes, negotiations, implementation, and ongoing assessment of all partners
Remain current with the latest digital commerce and marketing trends to identify new growth opportunities
Lead and develop e-commerce and marketing teams in critical skills to achieve business goals
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
10+ years of digital experience, preferably in a direct-to-consumer brand
Successful track record in building direct-to-consumer businesses and in managing an e-commerce P&L to drive profitable growth
Highly analytical and data-driven, with knowledge of how to optimize commercial and marketing levels to deliver company goals
Strong understanding of consumer mindset and a dedication to creating great customer experiences
Strong general management and leadership skills with the ability to grow and manage a diverse team and work well cross-functionally
In-depth knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and other digital tech stack partners
Experience with vendor management and negotiation
Excellent communication skills with strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Has interpersonal skills to influence, collaborate with, and build relationships with multiple departments
