Summary Of Position As an Email Marketing Strategist on the Paid Media team, you will drive the execution of email marketing campaigns end‑to‑end, focusing on strategy, deliverability, and engagement. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned email marketer with a proven track record of executing customer‑focused strategy, with experience in content marketing and marketing automation. You must be willing to learn about various types of industries and treat each client’s business as if it were your own.
Applicants within a 25-mile radius of our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ 85053 will be required to work onsite, Monday through Friday, beginning in January 2026.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze the performance of email marketing campaigns and provide actionable recommendations and improvements
Report on email marketing engagement, performance, and other KPIs monthly for clients
Adapt email campaigns and messaging to each client’s industry, audience, and preferences
Stay well‑versed and knowledgeable about email marketing best practices and trends including how to maintain high‑deliverability rates and CAN‑SPAM compliance
Manage email components required from Design, Development, Reporting, and Quality teams
Independently write email marketing copy with high standards for creativity, accuracy, clarity, and grammar
Build and maintain segmented email marketing lists for clients
Continually perform tests to maximize lifetime value and customer retention of existing and new customers that also re‑engage lapsed users
Establish a strong brand voice with a conversion‑centric tone for a wide range of clients
Develop and manage marketing automation campaigns for clients
Implement API plugins and manage email opt‑ins to nurture new leads for multiple clients
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
2+ years of email marketing experience within a digital marketing agency environment
Proficient in HTML/CSS for email coding
Proficient in Google Analytics
Proficient in multiple email marketing platforms and tools (HubSpot, MailChimp, Constant Contact, Pardot, Emma, Marketo, etc.)
Excellent copywriting skills and high accuracy and attention to detail with intolerance for errors
Ability to learn new client industries and create accurate and conversion‑centric email copy for different target audiences
Ability to write concisely and the creativity to come up with and test new ideas
Ability to understand and interpret critical email metrics
Ability to work on a team, but also work efficiently with minimal supervision
Ability to complete workflows within deadlines for multiple clients at once
The total compensation for this salaried non‑exempt opportunity includes a base salary range of $55,000 to $60,000, the potential for bonuses, plus benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience, and location. As you go through our interview process, your recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range.
