About the Role As a Field Marketing Specialist (FMS), you will represent the Mountain Mike’s Pizza brand in local communities, driving restaurant sales, increasing brand visibility, and activating grassroots marketing through local events and partnerships. You’ll serve as both coach and connector, helping franchisees grow through community engagement and localized marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities

Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM): Support franchisees in executing grassroots campaigns using approved brand toolkits and local media. Event Activation: Coordinate school nights, fundraisers, sports tie‑ins, and grand openings. Community & B2B Outreach: Build partnerships with schools, chambers, HR teams, realtors, hotels, hospitals, and youth programs. Promotions & Social: Guide franchisees in boosting local content and leveraging promotions seasonally. Training: Provide coaching on canvassing, campaign planning, and local relationship‑building. Reporting: Track all marketing activities, outcomes, and vendor/community contact information using the required LRM Tracker. Catering Growth (in select markets): Develop local relationships to grow catering sales. B2B: Market to businesses to drive large account orders and events for dine‑in, carryout and delivery. You will typically support 20–30 franchise locations, balancing in‑person visits, administrative planning, and event execution. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in field marketing, local brand activation, or franchise marketing support. Demonstrated success in local events, B2B marketing, or grassroots campaign execution. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills. Self‑directed and able to work independently across multiple markets. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM/reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications

Background in QSR, restaurant, or franchise systems. Familiarity with Bay Area market landscape. Employment Type

This is a full‑time exempt position. The work averages approximately 55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, based on field needs and event schedules. Location: Bay Area, CA (Remote/Home‑Based + Local Field Travel). Employee must reside in the market and be able to travel (restaurant visits, event sites, canvassing) daily, as well as conduct remote/home‑based administrative work. Travel: Frequent local travel across assigned trade areas in the Bay Area and nearby counties (e.g., Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano). Driving: Must have reliable transportation and be able to transport signage and event materials. Mileage & Expense Reimbursement: All business‑related mileage and approved expenses (e.g., phone, internet, printing) are reimbursed. Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience and geographic location). Bonus: Eligible to participate in the company bonus for this position if offered.
