Job Description Our Global Enterprise Communications and Events team at Visa is responsible for creating internal campaigns, programs, and events that inform leaders and colleagues about the company’s strategic business priorities, cultural programs, and large‑scale change. We are looking for a resourceful, detail‑oriented, proactive, creative and collaborative Communications Manager to lead in developing and executing multi‑channel campaigns.

Responsibilities

Lead communications plans and programs for Visa’s culture and transformation initiatives, including Leadership Principles, the Employee Engagement Survey results, and large‑scale change management programs.

Develop comprehensive communications plans that outline key objectives, target audiences, strategic approach and success measures, and present to senior communications leadership.

Write and distribute content, including digital and social copy, intranet articles, emails to leaders and all employees, talking points, speaker scripts, video scripts, event invitations, and presentation slides.

Partner with the Internal Digital Platforms team and external agency teams to plan, project manage and execute creative digital employee campaigns across key internal channels.

Support communications and logistics for internal events, including the CEO’s quarterly Town Halls, annual leadership meetings, and other marquee events.

Project manage communications initiatives including scheduling meetings, setting agendas, developing slides, managing stakeholder reviews and approvals, aligning on cross‑functional roles and responsibilities, and creating workback plans to meet deliverable timelines.

Host strategy meetings with client and partner teams to build consensus, make decisions and drive cross‑functional alignment.

Report and track metrics to ensure success is measured against goals.

Maintain an archive of communications materials and historical information.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).

Preferred: 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.

Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related discipline.

Passionate about effective and creative employee communications that inform and engage diverse employee groups, enhance their sense of common purpose and enable impact.

Blend strategic thought and tactical delivery, creating and delivering communication plans and activities that achieve clear and measurable outcomes.

Build effective relationships and strong rapport with a wide range of colleagues, including leaders, working collaboratively but also advising and challenging constructively.

Be comfortable working with and adapting to change and working at pace.

Pay attention to detail, especially when juggling a high volume of work.

Be flexible and motivated in times of ambiguity or conflicting deadlines, managing time and resources to deliver on time and at high standard.

Be proactive and demonstrate initiative in starting new projects or thinking of new ways to maximize existing programs to support employee communication goals.

Additional Information Work Hours:

Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements:

5‑10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

The position will be performed in an office setting. The incumbent will sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:

The estimated salary range for this position is $109,800 to $168,600 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
