Leisure Coordinator, Sales & Marketing (FT)
We invite passionate individuals to join Montage International as a Leisure Coordinator in our Sales & Marketing team. The role provides strategic administrative support to the Leisure Sales Department, working closely with Directors and Managers to drive the company's vision, mission and values.

Essential Functions
Assist in completing leisure reservations received via email correspondence, or hotel reservations form. Identify luxury leisure, VIP entertainment, corporate account and wholesale reservations as directed by the leisure manager.
Review reservations for accuracy in Opera and billing and ensure prompt processing.
Send confirmation and literature requests or reply via e‑mail or administrative message when requested. Answer all reservations and communications in a timely manner.
Communicate and work closely with the leisure director throughout the process of the leisure reservation to ensure success.
Assist the leisure director in setting up amenities, welcome notes and VIP requests.
Create resumes with guidance from the leisure director for small entertainment groups.
Schedule and assist in advisor site inspections of the property.
Work closely with the leisure director on setting up FAMs and roadshows.
Assist with on‑property requests and reservations while the leisure director is traveling.
Maintain open communication channels between the reservations and communications team, and group team, passing along pertinent information in a timely manner.
Be well‑informed in order to accurately answer guests’ questions about the property.
Follow established emergency procedures when handling calls of an emergency nature or in a state of natural disaster.
Adhere to the weekly schedule provided by the direct supervisor, and manage time in accordance with California labor law.
Qualifications – Required
High school or equivalent education.
Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management and colleagues.
Computer proficiency and the ability to work with Microsoft Office programs.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Attendance at all scheduled/mandatory training sessions and meetings is required.
Qualifications – Preferred
Bachelor’s degree.
Luxury hotel experience.
Opera experience.
Physical Requirements Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required for the remainder of the working day. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, talking, listening, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
Compensation The pay scale for Leisure Coordinator is $26 - $28 per hour. This is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
