Ophthalmic Photographer We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Photographer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining patient history, performing visual acuity tests, and documenting the results. You will work closely with other clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and improve patient experience. Your expertise will include conducting Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA), performing Intravenous Fluorescein Angiography (IVFA) and Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICG), maintaining accurate records, and capturing high‑quality fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs.

Responsibilities

Obtain patient history and document visual acuity tests.

Work collaboratively with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

Conduct OCT and OCTA procedures.

Perform IVFA and ICG imaging.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.

Capture high‑quality fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs.

Essential Skills

Photography skills, particularly in fundus photography.

Proficiency in using OCT technology.

Strong computer skills.

Basic understanding of ophthalmology.

Basic bilingual capabilities are an advantage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months experience in a related field.

CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Preferred certifications include COA, OCT‑C, and CRA.

Work Environment The work schedule is flexible between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with shifts determined by clinic needs. Training will occur at the administrative building in the Galleria. You will join a team of 8‑24 individuals, with each physician requiring 8 clinic staff. Your primary location will be the busy Bellaire clinic, but you may occasionally support the Cypress, Katy, and Sugarland clinics as needed. You will receive your schedule two weeks in advance, and mileage will be reimbursed for any travel beyond your main clinics. The environment is extremely fast‑paced, with the clinic serving 80‑100 patients a day. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs, short groomed nails, and hair tied back.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
