Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Role is in office 4 days a week in Edison. Company pays 100% of medical for employee and 2 bonuses a year.
Soft Home Goods company is seeking a Textile Product Designer with experience in kitchen and tabletop textiles. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating trend‑right, commercially viable designs in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. This position will support both branded and private label collections, working closely with our product development and marketing teams to bring innovative, market‑driven home textile products to life.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop original artwork, patterns, and layouts for kitchen textiles and table linens, including towels, aprons, placemats, runners, and more.
Create detailed product designs and colorways using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Translate design concepts into production‑ready artwork and technical specifications for overseas factories.
Research and interpret current trend, color, and material directions to inform new product and design development.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure brand consistency and product alignment across both branded and private label programs.
Review product samples and provide detailed comments to ensure accuracy, quality, and design integrity throughout production.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience designing textiles for home products, with a focus on kitchen and tabletop categories.
Experience with bedding and bath design a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of textile repeat layouts, color separations, and print production.
Knowledge of technical specs, materials, and overseas manufacturing processes.
Proven ability to design on‑trend, marketable products aligned with both brand and retail consumer preferences.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
