Video Production Specialist/ Editor

Live Event Video Engineer/ Video Editor to manage and execute all aspects of video production for live events. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting video systems to ensure seamless video delivery across screens, streams, and recordings. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments and has a passion for live production technology.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate video switchers, routers, monitors, and playback systems for live events.
Manage video signal flow from cameras, graphics, and playback devices to screens and streaming platforms.
Coordinate with camera operators, directors, and technical teams to ensure video quality and timing.
Troubleshoot video issues in real-time during rehearsals and live shows.
Integrate video feeds with audio, lighting, and control systems.
Maintain and transport video equipment, ensuring all gear is show‑ready.
Edit raw footage into compelling video content using industry‑standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Collaborate with producers, directors, and graphic designers to achieve the desired visual style and narrative.
Add music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
Color correct and audio mix to professional standards.
Export and deliver final videos in required formats for web, broadcast, or social platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in live video production or broadcast engineering.
Proficiency with video switchers (e.g., Epiphan, Blackmagic, Decimator), signal converters, and video distribution systems.
Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and signal flow (SDI, HDMI, NDI, etc.).
Experience with live streaming platforms and encoding tools (e.g., OBS, vMix, BrandLive, Intrado Studio, StreamYard, Zoom, Webex).
Ability to read and create technical schematics and signal flow diagrams.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and calm under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with different video formats, codecs, and aspect ratios.
Experience Level Intermediate Level

Pay And Benefits
The pay range is $20.00 – $27.00 per hour.
