Position Summary The Digital Communications Coordinator plays a key role in shaping and executing TVT’s digital presence. Responsible for storytelling across web, email, social media, and visual content, this position ensures that TVT’s values, culture, and excellence are clearly and compellingly communicated to both internal and external audiences. The Digital Communications Coordinator owns day‑to‑day execution of digital communications and helps identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and consistency across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Manage content creation, scheduling, and monitoring for all official TVT social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), aligning tone and messaging with brand standards
Capture and edit high‑quality photography and video content from across campus, ensuring consistent documentation of school events and everyday moments
Organize, tag, and maintain TVT’s photo and video archive (Vidigami) to ensure visual assets are searchable and accessible for use across departments
Maintain and update website and internal portal content, supporting accuracy, usability, and alignment with institutional priorities
Build, send, and monitor branded email campaigns and newsletters; manage templates and optimize for engagement
Coordinate digital advertising efforts by liaising with vendors (e.g., Google, Meta, Niche), delivering assets, and tracking performance
Create and manage paid social media promotions to extend the reach of priority campaigns
Track and report engagement metrics across email, social media, and web platforms to support data‑informed decision‑making
Monitor and maintain the school’s online presence and listings on key platforms.
Source stories, testimonials, and visual content from students, faculty, and families to enhance community representation in marketing materials
Maintain the department’s project management and help desk system, triaging requests, assigning tasks, and tracking progress
Collaborate with internal teams and support staff to gather content, coordinate communications, and ensure accuracy across deliverables
Stay up to date with evolving digital marketing and communications trends, tools, and best practices
Proactively identify new opportunities for digital engagement, storytelling, and platform growth
Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or digital media
Strong proficiency in photography and videography—including shooting, editing, and managing visual content
Excellent written communication skills for digital platforms, including social media and email marketing
Experience with email marketing and content management systems
Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects
Experience coordinating with external vendors is a plus
Interest in or experience with Jewish day schools or mission‑driven organizations is a plus
Salary Range: $27.00 - $33.00 Hourly
