FOX44/KWKT-TV, serving central Texas, is seeking a skilled and motivated Weekend Weather Anchor to join our award-winning weather department, recognized for the most accurate forecasts in Central Texas. Position Overview
Weekend Weather Anchor is responsible for evening newscasts, weekend reporting, and supporting severe weather coverage alongside our CBM-certified Chief Meteorologist. If you’re passionate about weather, eager to grow, and ready to lead with positivity and professionalism, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
Deliver accurate, engaging forecasts across TV and digital platforms Anchor weekend evening weather segments Support severe weather coverage with our CBM-certified Chief Meteorologist Report three days a week on weather-related stories Engage with viewers on social media Represent the station at community events Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and station goals. Qualifications
