Job Title: Remote Distribution Designer
Job Description We are currently seeking experienced Distribution Designers to join an Engineering firm on a remote basis. You must have experience working with Distribution Design Studio (DDS) on resiliency workloads for AEP and/or CenterPoint.
Responsibilities
Design and draft power distribution systems.
Utilize DDS for distribution design and power delivery.
Engage in utility design and ensure effective power distribution.
Contribute to the resilience of power delivery systems.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of distribution design experience.
At least 1 year of experience with DDS.
Experience with AEP, CNP, or First Energy for at least 1 year.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Katapult and IKE.
Strong skills in Distribution Design Studio.
Experience as a Design Technician.
Competence in staking and pole locating.
Work Environment This role offers a flexible work environment with both office and remote options available. You will work 40+ hours per week. Enjoy the opportunity for growth while supporting a new customer, as well as benefits like paid time off and holidays.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
