Los Angeles Angels-Seasonal Part Time 2026 Minor League Affiliate Video Assistan

The Los Angeles Angels are currently seeking candidates for a Video Assistant position for 2026. Video Assistants will report directly to the Minor League Video Coordinator and Minor League Assistant Video Coordinator. They will work in tandem with the Game Planning Strategist for all home games.
Based at one of the Angels’ minor league affiliates (Tri‑City, Rocket City, Salt Lake, Inland Empire, Arizona, Santo Domingo, DR), the Video Assistant would be responsible for the video needs of that affiliate during homestands only, as well as assist the affiliate staff with other information, technology and data as appropriate.
Pay rates range from $15.15-$17.13 an hour, dependent on location where work is performed. Pay for work performed in Santo Domingo, DR will be paid according to local wage requirements.
Applicants can come from any discipline or background, but will demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to learn, and adapt to new processes.
The Video Assistant is a part‑time position that will only be asked to work affiliate homestands
The position will have monitored hours during Minor League Spring Training, work homestands during the 2026 minor league season and some candidates being considered to assist during Instructional League
Essential Responsibilities of the Position
Chart all home games utilizing BATS software
Responsible for the setup, capture, and upload game and non‑game video (bullpens, batting practice, etc.)
Assist the Game Planning Strategist with advance scouting reports and needs
Take on projects as assigned by Player Development and assigned affiliate staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Bilingual, not required but preferred
Strong knowledge of baseball analytics and associated data and technologies
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication and well as visualization skills
Proficient with computers, iPads, high speed cameras and other electronic devices
Ability to work weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays for the duration of the 2025 Minor League season
Willingness to learn data systems like BATS, Trackman, Rapsodo, HawkEye, TruMedia, etc.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to traverse office and stadium frequently
Ability to work in inclement weather
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
