Description The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

We are hiring for Respiratory Care Practitioner position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is part-time, 0.75 FTE, 10‑hr Day shifts, 30 hours per week.

$5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications:

National Registered Respiratory Therapist – National Board for Respiratory Care

National Certified Respiratory Therapist – National Board for Respiratory Care

National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association

5 years experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care

Pay Range: $37.45 – $58.14 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
