Job Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Designer to join our team! Bring your creativity and technical expertise to projects that shape the nation’s landscapes.
Parsons is seeking a Landscape Designer with 3+ years of experience and strong MicroStation and CAD proficiency to join our growing Landscape Architecture team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and designers on transformative infrastructure projects across a diverse range of climates and geographies across the US.

What You’ll Be Doing
Produce CAD and MicroStation drawings, renderings, layouts, and construction documents that bring designs to life.
Support the development of concepts, design plans, and details that integrate landscape, aesthetics, and infrastructure.
Assist with technical documentation and coordinate input across multidisciplinary teams.
Manage specific tasks on small to mid-sized projects, maintaining quality and deadlines.
Apply problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve design and drafting challenges, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across project deliverables.
Collaborate with landscape architects and project managers, building your skills in design, communication, and coordination.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) is required and typically 3+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree and typically 3+ years of related experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation/ORD (MicroStation preferred)
Strong design sense and attention to technical accuracy
Ability to prepare graphics, plans, and supporting documentation
Understanding of landscape standards, planting design, and construction documentation for public sector projects
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
Experience with transportation, infrastructure, or large‑scale site design
Familiarity with ProjectWise, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering tools such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Rhino
Security Clearance Requirement None. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
Salary Range $29.95 – $52.40 per hour.
