Job Summary CECO Environmental provides sustainable solutions for industrial air, water, and energy transition. The Structural Designer III will prepare clear, complete designs and support project deliverables.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Organizes and maintains project‑related information including 3D CAD models, drawings, material lists, and documentation.

Determines completeness of project information and requests updates when necessary.

Works closely with Sales, Project Engineering, and Project Management to ensure designs meet specifications and schedules.

Prepares drawings for customer approval, material procurement, and fabrication.

Reviews peers’ drawings for accuracy and best design practices.

Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to customers and fabricators.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Computer‑Aided Design or related field.

Five (5) years minimum engineering experience.

Experience designing industrial casing plate ductwork and structural members.

Experience with 3D modeling.

Ability to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, and volumes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Autodesk® Inventor or similar software.

Experience with industrial process piping.

Knowledge of butt weld, socket weld and threaded piping systems.

Working knowledge of P&ID development and evaluation.

Travel Requirements:

Estimated up to 25% of working hours.

Valid driver’s license required.

ADA Requirements: Positions require typical light work activities; compliance with company attendance standards.
