Overview
Razorfish is looking for a hands‑on, hybrid editor and videographer to be part of a tight‑knit team of production professionals working for an energy company. This role will have you directly immersed with our clients, on‑site in their office. You can expect to work alongside a diverse team editing and shooting internal and external digital, social and events.
Responsibilities
- Video Editing – edit video footage into high‑quality content for various social media platforms.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and devices.
- Understand social‑first editing, pacing, lighting, and safety zones.
- Videography – strong video production and still photography skills using DSLR and studio cameras, plus working knowledge of lighting and audio mixing.
- Post‑production – manage color grading, sound editing, troubleshoot tech specs and delivery issues; demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve.
- Project Management – functionally report to Agency Producer, organize and maintain assets, meet deadlines, deliver error‑free video content, and stay updated with latest video and motion‑graphics trends.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing and videography.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong storytelling, pacing and timing skills.
- Familiarity with color grading and sound editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Creative problem‑solving, attention to detail and strong time‑management skills.
- Expertise in social media and pop culture; passion for social media.
- Willingness to appear in content (hand, face, voice) as needed.
- Portfolio showcasing best work in both video editing and videography.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion‑graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Previous experience in social content creation and advertising.

Compensation Range: $70,000 – $79,000/yr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
