Events and Promotion Representative – Long Beach Area

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Location: Long Beach, CA area

Schedule: Flexible Part-Time

Compensation: $20/hour + commission

We’re looking for an Event Marketing Representative within our Marketing and Promotions Department – as a marketing representative, you will have conversations with homeowners at trade shows, events, festivals, fairs and expos, and retail locations, to generate appointments for our in‑home sales team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years’ experience in sales, lead generation at shows and events, or similar experience
• Outgoing personality, extroverted and friendly personality
• Self‑motivated and a strong work ethic
• Persuasive and results‑oriented
• Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends
• You will travel to and from the listed events with setup items, so reliable transportation is required
• Attend monthly department meetings and other company meetings
• Clean criminal background and drug‑free required

Responsibilities

• Engage prospects: Initiate conversations with event attendees, answer questions, and provide information about services to generate appointments
• Schedule appointments for our sales team to meet with homeowners to discuss their kitchen or bathroom remodeling needs
• Learn and execute our scripts
