Video Content Delivery Specialist – BYU-Pathway Worldwide Student Employee
Salt Lake City, UT, United States (Remote)
Job Description
Video Content Delivery Specialist interns and student employees play a vital role in the post‑production and distribution process for BYU-Pathway Worldwide’s digital media efforts. These individuals are responsible for preparing, adapting, and delivering finalized video content across multiple platforms and formats. Rather than creating videos from start to finish, they ensure that completed projects are formatted, tagged, organized, and distributed efficiently to the right channels.
Using tools such as Premiere Pro, Brightcove, MediaValet, SharePoint, YouTube, and other asset management systems, Video Content Delivery Specialists collaborate closely with the social media and marketing teams to ensure all content is ready for publication and optimized for each platform. They may also adapt existing videos into vertical or social‑friendly versions to meet the needs of Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, familiarity with Premiere Pro, attention to detail, and comfort navigating large libraries of media assets while maintaining quality and consistency in every upload.
Additional Information
Part‑time position (Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm). Remote or hybrid. Applicants must reside in Utah or Idaho and be willing to work on‑site 1–3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Adapt and export finalized videos into platform‑specific formats.
- Upload and organize video content within systems such as Brightcove, MediaValet, SharePoint, and YouTube.

- Ensure all published content aligns with BYU-Pathway Worldwide’s brand standards and accessibility requirements.
- Track and report on content uploads and ensure deadlines for distribution are met.
- Coordinate with video editors and producers to verify that all final deliverables meet platform specifications and technical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for basic reframing, resizing, and exporting.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with a proven ability to manage large volumes of digital assets.
- Detail‑oriented approach to version control, naming conventions, and media archiving.
- Familiarity with digital publishing workflows and video platforms (YouTube, Brightcove, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
- Proactive problem‑solving and self‑direction with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MediaValet, Brightcove, or similar digital asset management systems.
- Understanding of platform‑specific requirements for social media video.
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, or other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
- Experience in digital marketing, content operations, or media management.
