Role Description

We are seeking a Trailer Repair Service Writer to join our Dallas-area team. This full-time, on-site position plays a key role in customer service and shop operations. You’ll be responsible for managing repair orders, preparing estimates, coordinating with technicians, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure a smooth and efficient repair process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and online
• Write detailed estimates for trailer service and repair work
• Communicate clearly with customers and technicians throughout each job
• Schedule and track repair work from start to finish
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and timely communication

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable with technology, quoting systems, and basic computer use
• Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience as a service writer, advisor, or estimator preferred
• Knowledge of trailers, diesel, or heavy-duty service a plus
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality work

Compensation & Growth

This position offers a base salary plus commission structure, rewarding performance and results. Compensation is directly tied to the quality of service, accuracy of estimates, and customer satisfaction.
