Head of Marketing
Forgis will have an authoritative, distinctive and minimalist digital presence, communicating precision, trust, and technological depth, paired with a bold, high‑impact and unconventional marketing, showcasing Forgis’ technical prowess through striking robot demos (e.g. robots playing a ping pong match or playing chess), reference cases on massive production lines, and physical events like hackathons with cutting‑edge partners. At the same time, the founders and founding team will build their own digital personas, aimed at growing their following within key target audiences such as manufacturing business leaders, robotics enthusiasts, top engineering talents, researchers, the open‑source community, founders, and investors.
As the Head of Marketing at Forgis, you own the company’s narrative, visibility, branding, and reputation. You are responsible not only for Forgis’ brand but also for shaping how the founders and core team are perceived across different audiences. You shape and feed the marketing machine that moves fast, experiments relentlessly, and scales what works, keeping the reputation of Forgis and its leadership consistently strong, credible, and trusted.
Responsibilities
Build and lead Forgis’ marketing engine : Execute a cohesive strategy across digital, content, social media, events, and PR to drive awareness and leads while ensuring brand consistency and authority. Manage company channels on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and robotics communities, plus founders’ profiles on LinkedIn and X.
Consistently design and execute reputable viral content : Create viral campaigns that grow the follower base of the company - across all its profiles and respective target audiences - through bold storytelling, striking visuals, and authentic engagement.
Grow and engage the Forgis community : Expand the Slack community of beta testers and the company’s GitHub channel from hundreds to thousands of members, forks and stars by keeping engagement high through updates, discussions, showcases, and direct interaction with users and contributors.
Organize high‑attendance physical initiatives in Zurich : Plan and host events that attract massive participation from target audiences and establish Forgis as the most‑wanted startup in the Zurich ecosystem, including meetups, hackathons, community gatherings, and collaborations with cutting‑edge innovators.
Coordinate the full marketing ecosystem : Manage and align all creative and promotional stakeholders - including videomakers, designers, influencers, and partners - ensuring consistent quality, tone, and timing across every campaign and channel.
