The Marketing Technology & Growth Enablement lead has oversight of four specialized teams: Digital Marketing & Campaign Services, Marketing Technology, Marketing Data & Analytics, and Growth Support. This leader will drive enterprise growth by enabling sales success through lead generation, optimized campaign performance, robust analytics, and support for Open Enrollment initiatives. The role is responsible for orchestrating the execution of multi-channel marketing efforts, enabling data-driven decision-making, and fostering collaboration across the E&I marketing function.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires within 30 minutes of an office in Minnesota or Washington, D.C., you’ll be required to work a minimum of four days per week in-office. Preferred location is Minnetonka, MN.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Set vision and strategy for integrated marketing operations, digital campaigns, technical solutions, analytics, and growth support. Drive alignment across teams to support membership growth for National Accounts, Public Sector, Key Accounts, and Small Business segments.
Team Oversight: Lead and develop high-performing teams in Digital Marketing, Tech Solutions, Data & Analytics, and Growth Support. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Growth Enablement: Oversee strategic lead generation and campaign optimization to maximize marketing ROI and bottom-line contribution. Ensure robust sales pipeline reporting, analytics, and dashboard development for accurate performance measurement.
Technical Platform Management: Own and architect omni-channel platforms for OE events, including logistics, materials, field communications, training, analytics, vendor management, and event staffing. Oversee application development, API programming, and full-stack engineering across platforms such as OneConnect and Benefit Explorer.
Data & Analytics: Enable data-driven decision-making by delivering advanced sales performance reports, analytics, and dashboards. Ensure data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy for pipeline and compensation data.
Campaign Services: Orchestrate multi-channel campaigns and journeys to support member marketing initiatives. Optimize engagement through event-triggered outreach and AI-driven micro-targeting for B2B and B2C audiences.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with Marketing, UHG, and business teams to define, implement, and optimize segments, metrics, KPIs, and value measurements. Develop and maintain marketing insights assets, predictive tools, and performance dashboards.
Open Enrollment Support: Lead OE support services and support innovative campaign operations for member benefit awareness across various business lines.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience with proven success in a technical, operational, or business strategy role within a large, complex organization.
Strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with enterprise platforms (Adobe AEM, Workfront, Power BI, Tableau, Azure, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable growth and optimize marketing ROI.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $196,600 to $337,100 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
