We are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Geotechnology practice, focusing on the telecom sector and technology infrastructure. This position includes direct client management for our corporate sector telecom clients, while contributing to a range of analyses for the practice.
Note: This is not an IT position; applicants with IT operational backgrounds will not be considered.
This position will be based in Washington, DC. New York and London are possible alternative locations.
Base pay range : $105,000.00/yr – $115,000.00/yr. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis.

Responsibilities
Research and Analysis : Produce high‑quality, client‑relevant written analysis on a regular basis on the telecom sector and contribute to other written deliverables for the practice on a range of other technology areas and issues.
Insight Contribution : Engage with macro‑geopolitical issues, offering insights on key topics such as 5G, 6G, ORAN, cybersecurity, U.S. and global telecom regulation, etc.
Executive Presence : Demonstrate strong executive presence with the ability to engage effectively at the C‑suite level.
Client Management : Work directly with corporate clients, maintaining relationships and managing commercial relationships within the telecom sector.
Briefings : Deliver in‑person briefings to clients, providing expert insights in telecom technology and infrastructure.
Collaboration : Engage in exceptional teamwork, collaborating internally to achieve business objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
Writing fluency : Strong writing skills are essential. The candidate must publish or contribute to analysis regularly.
Sectoral expertise : 5+ years of experience in industry, government, trade association, journalism or consulting related to telecom and technology infrastructure.
Experience in or knowledge of government affairs or public policy is critical.
Proven ability to deliver insights and engage in meaningful client interactions.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential.
Experience in delivering client‑facing materials and managing client relationships effectively.
