Senior Plumbing Designer

Responsibilities
Develop plumbing calculations and design gas, water, and waste systems.
Produce reports and drawings using calculations and specifications for various buildings.
Utilize client requirements and specifications to generate consistent drawings that meet their needs.
Review code‑related items with engineers to ensure compliance with client requirements and specifications.
Assist senior engineering staff with equipment selection through project calculations and equipment research.
Help evaluate and select plumbing system components, applying standard engineering procedures.
Consult on feasibility reports and sustainability analyses.
Design plumbing systems such as sanitary, water, gas, storm, medical gas, and fire protection.
Mentor junior plumbing designers and engineers on expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering technology degree (preferred).
6–8 years of work experience with an engineering consultant.
Proficient in Revit 2022 and AutoCAD 2021.
