Senior Manager, DTC Content Finance Overview This role will primarily lead the team through the execution of standard forecasting cycles and provide ad hoc analyses for broad business support scenarios with a focus on the Hulu and global 3P licensing portfolio. The manager will interface with partners from DTC Finance, controllership, and Disney Entertainment teams, working closely with key stakeholders to set content financial plans while establishing clear communication and aligned objectives throughout the fiscal year.

Own the administrative execution and consolidation of quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long‑range plans for Hulu and global 3P licensing content.

Oversee the team responsible for the budgeting of Hulu licensed content and global 3P licensed content for Disney+.

Execute ad hoc analyses across the broad portfolio of Hulu and global licensing in direct support of senior Disney leadership.

Develop and mentor a team of two with a focus on growth mindset.

Collaborate with Disney Entertainment teams to oversee and communicate content costs and P&L forecasts.

Partner with Programming, Content Planning & Analysis, and other content‑related teams to support strategic and operational decision‑making.

Create, improve, and maintain department financial reporting tools and processes.

Partner with controllership teams across the company to set up reporting structures and interpret changes in content accounting treatment.

Stay up to date on SVOD industry trends amid a rapidly changing landscape.

Oversee the team responsible for the budgeting of Hulu Licensed content and global 3P licensing content, including hiring, leading, developing and motivating finance professionals.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in entertainment, with 2+ years of management experience with direct reports.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.

Expert knowledge of Excel, including building models from the ground up.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas and issues to executive management.

Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives.

Ability to drive and implement process improvements across key activities.

Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and with other business units.

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.

SAP and Cognos experience is a plus.

Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time while keeping management properly informed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required (emphasis in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred). CP&A or MBA is a plus.

The hiring range for this position in California is $152,800.00 – $186,600.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
