Position Overview The Program Director, is an entrepreneurial builder responsible for launching, shaping, and scaling this division from the ground up. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives on creating structure, defining systems, and driving a vision into reality.

This individual owns the full lifecycle of Trust the Process — a unique, integrated model that combines construction, design, and furnishing into a seamless client experience. From initial lead generation to final installation, they ensure that every phase delivers on quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has owned or developed a product, program, or business line before — someone who can think strategically about growth while rolling up their sleeves to make it happen.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary business development and sales leader for Trust the Process, responsible for bringing in qualified clients and converting them into signed projects.

Conduct consultations and presentations that educate clients on the Trust the Process philosophy, investment structure, and value.

Qualify leads to ensure project fit, scope, and client readiness.

Develop and present proposals, scopes, and contracts in collaboration with Design, Estimating, and Operations.

Manage the sales pipeline from inquiry to signature, tracking conversion rates, close ratios, and revenue targets.

Partner with Marketing and Leadership to refine messaging, collateral, and campaigns that drive new business.

Ownership & Profitability

Oversee the Trust the Process portfolio end-to-end — ensuring every project aligns with capacity, revenue goals, and margin expectations.

Monitor performance metrics including revenue growth, gross margin, client satisfaction, and referral generation.

Identify opportunities for new service offerings or process improvements that expand profitability.

Trust the Process — Program Leadership

Build and operationalize Trust the Process from inception — defining its structure, workflows, and financial model.

Refine the playbook for how design, construction, and furnishing integrate into one cohesive delivery process.

Establish performance standards, communication rhythms, and feedback systems across all participating teams.

Act as the central hub connecting Design, Construction, Procurement, and Operations to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Continuously refine systems, tools, and processes to improve scalability, profitability, and client outcomes.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning across all Trust the Process projects.

Review and approve project budgets, monitor cost-to-actual performance, and protect gross margins.

Collaborate with the CEO and Director of Operations on capacity forecasting, labor planning, and revenue projections.

Quality & Execution

Uphold quality standards throughout design documentation, construction coordination, and installation.

Implement QA/QC systems to minimize rework and ensure alignment between design intent and field execution.

Lead lessons‑learned reviews to drive consistency and excellence across the portfolio.

Ensure all Trust the Process projects stay on schedule — maintaining the master program timeline and tracking deliverables across departments.

Proactively identify delays or resource constraints and drive solutions to keep projects moving efficiently.

Trust the Process evolves from concept to a fully operational, profitable business unit.

The integrated construction‑design‑furnishing model becomes a signature, differentiating experience for clients.

The division runs with clear systems, strong margins, and a reputation for excellence — because the Program Director built it that way.

Qualifications & Competencies

5+ years of progressive experience in design‑build, renovation, or integrated project management.

Proven leadership experience managing multi‑departmental teams (design, construction, procurement).

Strong background in business development, client relations, and sales for service‑based creative industries.

High financial literacy: comfortable managing P&L, budgets, forecasts, and margin analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in client‑facing environments.

Strong understanding of interior design, FF&E, and light construction workflows.

Proficiency with project management and CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, HubSpot, or Buildertrend).

Required Skills / Abilities

7+ years of progressive experience in program or project management within design‑build, interiors, or construction environments.

Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams spanning design, construction, and procurement.

Demonstrated success managing end‑to‑end project delivery — integrating creative, technical, and operational workflows.

Strong financial and business acumen, including budget ownership, forecasting, and profitability management.

Confident client‑facing communicator skilled in consultations, presentations, and project negotiation.

Expert in project management and design platforms (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent).

Highly organized, proactive, and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills under evolving conditions and tight timelines.
