About the Role
The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Product Design leader to help drive the evolution of our planning experience, ensuring we meet couples as soon as they get engaged and create value at every step of their wedding planning journey. The role is located in New York City with two days in office.
Responsibilities
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing leadership to set and inspire a product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
Build and evangelize design thinking into how product development is carried out and represent design across the company’s leadership.
Collaborate with front‑end engineering on a global pattern library approach that balances speed and creativity.
Lead your team of full‑stack product designers within squads to solve our users’ most important problems.
Improve collaboration between design, product, engineering, and data across functions.
Support and evolve a design culture within the product organization.
Hire, develop, and grow the design team.
Enhance the design hiring brand through community representation and thought leadership.
Develop team members into masters of their craft and product community leaders.
Successful Candidates Have
10+ years of digital product design and leadership experience with end‑to‑end execution.
Proven track record running B2C experiences at different stages of user engagement.
2+ years of experience on top‑of‑funnel and growth initiatives.
Demonstrable ability to create and lead others to design industry‑leading solutions.
Strong business sense and partnership with Sales.
Experience with agile, lean, data‑driven processes and user research.
Orientation toward development and continuous learning.
Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
Track record collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing leaders.
Work Model This role is Together@TKWW‑eligible and requires hybrid work: two days per week in the New York office starting September 15 2025.
