Role Summary
Drives the planning, coordination, and delivery of department communications and digital media initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and business goals. This role blends strong project management expertise with creativity and digital insight to deliver high-impact communications that engage, inform, and inspire internal and external audiences.

Location: Onsite Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Rate: $60-$70/hr
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management:
Lead the end-to-end management of communication and digital media projects — from concept through execution — ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
Project Planning:
Establish and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and dashboards to track progress and performance.
Team Coordination:
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations across corporate functions, ensuring clarity, accountability, and results.
Risk Management:
Identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Corporate Communications Leadership:
Partner with business leaders to develop cohesive, audience-targeted messaging that supports enterprise priorities.
Brand Consistency:
Ensure consistent communication standards, tone, and brand voice across digital and corporate channels.
Internal Campaigns:
Plan and execute internal campaigns that reinforce key corporate narratives and elevate organizational reputation.
Executive Support:
Deliver executive communications support for key initiatives, events, and leadership updates.
Digital Media Strategy & Delivery:
Oversee the creation and deployment of digital media assets — including web content, newsletters, social posts, videos, and infographics — ensuring they align with project objectives and engage target audiences.
Platform Integration:
Manage the integration of digital communication platforms and tools to enhance visibility, collaboration, and storytelling impact.
Analytics:
Use analytics and dashboards to measure reach, engagement, and effectiveness, translating data into actionable insights.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals and progress.
Digital Upskilling:
Support digital upskilling and adoption across teams, promoting best practices in content creation, collaboration, and platform use.
Change Management:
Apply organizational change management (OCM) principles to drive adoption and sustainment of communication initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
Leverage new technologies, digital media trends, and feedback loops to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
Process Streamlining:
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve visibility, and enhance the employee and stakeholder experience.
Strategic Perspective:
Maintain a forward-looking perspective on the evolving digital communication landscape.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience managing communication and digital media projects in a corporate or enterprise setting.
Exceptional writing, editing, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Stream, SharePoint, Power BI, Teams, Tableau, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other digital collaboration and design tools.
Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging narratives.
Strong project management capabilities with familiarity in Agile or hybrid methodologies.
Basic Qualification Doctorate degree or Master’s degree and 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience or Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
