About The Love List
The Love List is New England’s fastest-growing curated dating platform — connecting ambitious, kind, and authentic singles through intentional matchmaking and real-world events. We’ve become a community movement that celebrates what’s missing in modern dating: connection, locality, and a little bit of charm.
We’re now looking for a Social Media Coordinator who can capture that energy online — helping us grow, engage, and delight our audience across platforms.
The Role You’ll manage the daily rhythm of The Love List’s social presence — crafting content, engaging with the community, and analyzing what resonates. You’ll bring our voice to life across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and email, keeping our tone flirty but thoughtful, witty but grounded.
This is a hands‑on creative role that blends content creation, community management, and social data insights. You’ll help us tell stories that make people laugh, relate, and — ultimately — sign up for love.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation: plan, write, and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn, and email.
Develop short‑form video concepts (trends, interviews, behind‑the‑scenes) aligned with The Love List’s aesthetic.
Collaborate with the creative team for photo/video shoots, reels, and UGC campaigns.
Write compelling captions that mix humor, insight, and authenticity.
Community & Engagement
Act as the friendly, human voice of The Love List in comments and DMs.
Engage with creators, partners, and local businesses to build relationships and brand reach.
Help moderate community spaces, feature real members (with consent), and spark genuine dialogue.
Support marketing campaigns, event announcements, and collaborations with influencers.
Data & Growth
Stay on top of trends, memes, and cultural moments relevant to dating, love, and New England life.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
Love social media and understand its nuances — not just trends but tone and timing.
Are a strong storyteller who can blend romance, humor, and realism into a brand voice.
Think in systems — content calendars, data dashboards, templates.
Are equally comfortable brainstorming TikTok hooks and analyzing engagement metrics.
Have a natural sense for culture — from pop references to local New England charm.Care about building community and believe love (and laughter) are worth good design and effort.
Requirements
2+ years managing social media for a brand, startup, or creator (ideally lifestyle, community, or consumer tech).
Proven experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok (link portfolio or handles).
Excellent writing skills — clever, concise, and emotionally intelligent.
Familiar with analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, Google Sheets).
Basic photo/video editing (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools).
Based in or familiar with New England culture (local humor, places, and energy).
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with influencer collaborations or community partnerships.
Familiarity with dating, wellness, or lifestyle content ecosystems.
Copywriting experience for paid ads or email marketing.
SEO or blog writing background.
Graphic design or storytelling chops beyond social (newsletter, web, print).
