Join Jacobs as a Structural Design Technician, contributing to advanced manufacturing and built environment projects across the United States.
Base Pay Range $61,100.00/yr - $84,000.00/yr
Responsibilities At Jacobs, we’re not just building structures; we’re helping our clients innovate and grow by designing, engineering, and executing the construction of their state‑of‑the‑art facilities. As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you will:
Develop design concepts and create models from scratch.
Coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines.
Convey structural requirements to the construction team through 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
Provide leadership for a small project team, establishing project standards, procedures, training, and morale.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
At least 1 year of Revit experience.
At least 3 years of AutoCAD design experience.
Preferred:
Additional 2 years of Revit experience.
Experience in traditional steel and concrete structures.
Experience leading a team of designers.
Experience with healthcare / institutional / commercial buildings.
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
