As a Telecom Designer for Olsson on the Data Center team, you will be responsible for working in a collaborative design environment to design low voltage, telecommunications, and audio/visual systems within the built Data Center environment. This will include but is not limited to the following: layout of MDF/IDF/Demarc rooms, horizontal cabling design and specifications, Wireless Access Control, Security and Access Control, Surveillance, audio/visual systems, nurse call, and other low voltage systems. You will specialize in Telecom, Security, Audio/Visual Design and will also help with other electrical design projects as needed. Key Responsibilities

Utilize CAD/BIM software to support intricate engineering designs, focusing on data center and building systems cable routing, equipment layouts, and communication systems. Contribute to projects under the guidance of experienced designers, ensuring high-quality outputs and innovative solutions. Assist in managing project components, paying close attention to detail and precision from start to finish. Participate in client meetings, showcasing Olsson's commitment to excellence and strong partnerships. Be prepared to travel to job sites as necessary, adapting to various conditions to achieve project success. What We’re Looking For

Strong communication skills. Ability to contribute and work well on a team. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. An Associate degree in Drafting and Design is preferred. 3+ years of CAD/BIM experience, with proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD considered a plus. Experience in Cellular DAS, PSDAS, ROIP, and ERRCS design is a plus. A willingness to learn and develop your skills in complex engineering drawing design and layout. Benefits
