Material Expeditor role at Koch Engineered Solutions. Job location: Mt. Belvieu, TX. What You Will Do
Coordinate and expedite flow of materials within the jobsite, according to production and shipping schedules. Examine material delivered to jobsite for damages. Arrange on site transfer of materials to meet production schedules. Maintain status and location of materials. Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site. Be a team player with a customer-focused mindset; prioritize safety in all decisions. Act as a safety role model for the team and enforce OPD and client safety policies and procedures on the jobsite. Actively participate in a strong safety culture and recognize safety hazards and risks. Participate in onsite safety meetings and follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures. Be on time each day and ready for work; display a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrate high attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors. Some physical demands
Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions, including extreme heat/cold and high elevations. Lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs; regular use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, bending, and balancing. Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools. Basic Qualifications
One or more years of experience with pipe, valves, and fittings in a gas plant construction environment. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation. Ability to meet all physical demands of the job and attend mandatory safety meetings. Willingness to work in a team environment with a customer focus. Preferred/Advantageous
Past experience as a materials helper; experience in Supply Chain and inventory management. About Koch and OPD
