SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer Coordinator to join our industry-leading S&P 500 REIT. This role involves managing large-scale design solutions for senior living residential real estate. With over $70 billion in assets across 2,000 properties in three countries, this position will specifically support our US East portfolio. This is a field-based role, requiring a home office and occasional travel to properties within the assigned area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate and support design team in all phases of multiple design projects from design development, through construction management and installation
Assist with sourcing of furniture, fabrics, fixtures, and finishes in line with client needs, the design teams' vision and project budget
Develop furniture, fabric, and material studies for in house designers
Prepare and maintain supporting documents such as finish schedules, specifications, furnishing budgets, product, and shop drawings
As needed, attend meetings with clients, architects, contractors and vendors; help with scheduling and organization of installations; relay relevant information to design team
Develop long-term relationships with clients, design showrooms and vendors
Attend design presentations, progress review meetings, frame walks, project installations, final walks, and follow-up meetings as required.
Proficient in one or more: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Revit, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, and Design Manager.
Assist with managing vendor invoices for processing and payment as needed.
Stay current with design trends, building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to residential and commercial design.
Assist the VP of Design, Creative Designer with special design projects as necessary.

TRAVEL This role will require regular travel (up to 50%) to properties throughout your region as well as travel to our regional offices as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interior Design or a related field.
Preferred background in hospitality, multi-family, and commercial design; senior living design experience is not required.
Proficiency in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD , InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Sketchup
Understanding of Building and ADA codes is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude.
Active and Unrestricted Motor Vehicle License: moderate travel (including overnight trips and flights) is required.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
COMPENSAITON Salaries may vary by location. The range for this role is $50,000 - $69,000 plus bonus. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
