About the Team Capital One’s Retail Bank has grown by leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. The Bank has risen up the league tables in deposits and checking relationships, capitalizing on industry‑leading products and a unique challenger brand with superior digital capabilities and distinctive cafes and branches. The Retail Bank Marketing team has been on a two‑year journey of transformation into a digital‑first, intelligent marketing function to unleash the business’s growth potential. Our team is made up of business and data analysts, marketing strategists, MarTech product and platform managers, data scientists, creatives, project managers and process managers—all working together to create the marketing experiences that will drive more and core customers to bank with Capital One.

The Retail Bank Marketing team is looking for someone with deep marketing expertise who is interested in applying that experience into building, developing and maintaining a high‑performing marketing organization and supporting our growing Bank Marketing platforms. We’re on a journey to build world class marketing capabilities that create more personalized, data‑driven, real‑time experiences for prospects and customers. This person should be highly organized, emotionally intelligent and skilled in facilitating collaboration across leaders, as they will work directly with the Bank Marketing leadership team to drive strategic MarTech efforts, keep a pulse on healthy morale and engagement, and ensure key business priorities and campaigns are successfully executed. The ideal candidate can connect the dots between good process and great results, effectively influence others to achieve organizational goals, and facilitate a vocal leadership team toward purposeful outcomes through technology and AI.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, execution and optimization of marketing technology and automation efforts.

Define and implement key strategic initiatives for marketing technology platforms such as incentive infrastructures.

Advance the strategy and agenda for marketing automation, data and incentives across the organization.

Define, build and maintain the MarTech architecture working with technology leaders and across the enterprise.

Create decision‑making frameworks for platform architectural changes and manage integrations between various platforms like AdTech and owned channels.

Manage the MarTech stack, select vendors, oversee budgets, drive data‑driven strategy and foster adoption of new technologies.

Basic Qualifications

At least 9 years of experience working in Product Management.

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of Marketing, MarTech, AI, and marketing operations experience.

Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.

Salary Riverwoods, IL: $240,300 - $274,300

McLean, VA: $264,300 - $301,700

New York, NY: $288,400 - $329,100

Philadelphia, PA: $240,300 - $274,300

Richmond, VA: $240,300 - $274,300

Wilmington, DE: $240,300 - $274,300

Eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
