Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work

ON-SITE

with our client in Manassas, VA. Interested?

Responsibilities

Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts by production schedules and commitments.

Review the master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alert the proper authorities of potential problems.

Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders.

Takes appropriate action to expedite materials, such as ordering damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation.

Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.

Benefits Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00/ hr.

Job Requirements Required Skills:

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum 2 years of experience in material expediting, logistics, or production scheduling.

Minimum 2 years of experience working with production or manufacturing operations.

Preferred Skills:

Problem Reports and Resolutions

Evaluate, Track, and Report Feasibility of Suggestions

Experience with ERP or MRP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.

Proven success collaborating across departments to resolve material or scheduling challenges.

Good ability to track, document, and communicate material flow and production updates.

Additional Information:

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
