Now Hiring a Local CDL Driver – Anchorage, AK Location:

Anchorage, AK

Schedule:

4‑day workweek (10‑hour shifts) – weekends may be required

Pay:

$24–$33/hr (DOE)

What You’ll Do

Safely operate a commercial CDL truck on assigned local routes

Pick up residential/commercial waste & recycling

Perform pre/post trip inspections (fluids, tires, safety checks)

Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

Lift and move heavy materials (50+ lbs) – this is a hands‑on job!

Deliver top‑tier customer service every step of the way

What You Bring

Valid Class B CDL (with air brakes)

Clean driving record

1+ year of experience in commercial or route driving

Comfortable working outdoors, in all weather

Reliability, friendliness, and a team player mindset

Your Work Environment Expect early mornings, physical work, and plenty of fresh air. This is an active outdoor job, not a desk job.

You'll Deal With:

Wet, cold, or humid conditions

Heavy lifting, climbing, and movement

Moderate truck and equipment noise
