CAD Operator/Designer
to work remotely or in any of our office locations (Philadelphia, PA; Jacksonville, Tampa, or Destin, FL). This position supports CAD staff and engineers in producing engineering documents that adhere to company standards and practices. Duties and Responsibilities Receive engineering guidance and sketches to develop conceptual, permit, and construction documentation. Develop and revise engineering documentation for coastal engineering projects, including navigable waterway dredging, shoreline protection, waterfront structures, beach nourishment, artificial reefs, and living shorelines. Create 3D virtual models of engineering designs for documentation and quantity derivation. Review civil engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Requirements Associate or technical school degree in design/drafting or related field. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools. Minimum of 3 years of technical design experience. Candidate Characteristics Organized with multitasking ability. Energetic, detail-oriented team player. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with basic understanding of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to interpret technical information and diagrams. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Sitting for extended periods. Good vision (corrective lenses acceptable) for computer work.
