Position Overview:
At Brunswick Fort Wayne Operations, we continue to build the finest pontoons, steeped in a rich history of quality and innovation. Essential Functions:
Prior to each job, accurately count all pieces to ensure no extra/missing parts
Start your shift before production to ensure stock levels are inline for production
Moves materials from one point to another
May include kit pullers or pickers, material handling, forklift driving, stocking of inventory
Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled; follow SOPs, WI’s, and prints
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Perform other duties as assigned
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Preferred 1-3 years forklift experience
1-3 years fiberglass experience
Material handling experience in a fiberglass environment preferred
Ability to work 10 hour+ shift
Ability to work with a variety of chemicals following all proper safety requirements
Work independently in a fast-paced team environment
Understand supply chain systems components/competencies
Read prints/work instructions
Read and complete process sheets
Attention to detail
Computer skills including email
The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.50 - $25 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in Brunswick's comprehensive and high-quality benefits offerings, including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401(k) (up to 4% match), Health Savings Account (with company contribution), wellbeing program, product purchase discounts, and more.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins.
Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and being seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
