Junior Multidisciplinary Designer – Creative
Christie’s , the world’s largest art business, is looking for a Junior Multidisciplinary Designer – Creative to join our team. The role offers an opportunity to work in a top‑class museum environment that remakes itself on a weekly basis.

Role Overview The successful candidate will demonstrate skills in graphic design, environmental design, digital design, product display, and self‑management. The position reports to the Creative Director and Exhibition Design Director and involves working closely with internal staff, external vendors, and contract workers.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the Creative Director and Exhibition Design Director to propose and manage all aspects of design projects.
Design various brand materials for print, digital or exhibition.
Design and supervise installation of signage; develop timelines and punch lists for installation and source required materials.
Provide vital support, both inside and outside the office, needed to maintain healthy supplier and employee relationships.
Forecast and manage budget for projects.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Must have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in a field of design.
A minimum of 2 years of design experience in a professional setting.
Knowledge of graphic design, architectural and industrial design.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Vectorworks, SketchUp, or Figma is a plus.
Experience with motion design to create animated GIFs or simple video edits for social or window displays.
Knowledge of presentation software.
Ability to learn Christie’s systems required for daily development of projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication.
Professional, positive, and friendly interaction with staff at all levels.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Remain calm in stressful situations against pressure‑driven timelines.
Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
Flexible schedule and overtime needed during busy periods.
Demonstrated ability to project manage, develop and coordinate complex schedules.
Strong follow‑up skills with attention to detail.
Proactive attitude; takes initiative and seeks clarification when needed.
