Primary Responsibilities:
HDR's Interior Design Coordinator will:
Assist Senior Interior Designers with evaluations, selections, and applications for interior design concepts, utilizing programming, functional analysis, and space planning principles.
Perform interior design assignments including conceptual and schematic design.
Select interior details, materials, colors, furniture and furnishings, lighting design, space planning, and detailing.
Apply design principles in development and preparation of presentation drawings and construction documentation.
Clearly present and explain design concepts to supervisors and team members, taking direction when needed.
Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections for construction phase.
Interpret plans and specifications using knowledge of interior code requirements, construction administration procedures, and electrical/HVAC systems.
Required Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field with 2 years' experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' experience in interior design.
Experience in sustainable design; preparing 2D and 3D presentation and design drawings; proficiency in 3D Studio Max, Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape.
LEED Green Associate certification.

Pay Range: $89,606.00 - $109,250.00 annually/hourly, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
